Business Development Manager
Stephen Muldowney has extensive sales experience gained from working in a variety of different industry sectors throughout his career and has been working with First Choice Purchasing since 2014. He spent 10 successful years with the Independent News and Media Group working in print advertising sales. He started off in Telesales and progressed through to Key Account Manager and finally Sales Manager a role he occupied for 4 years. He moved on to work for PrintPost which is a subsidiary of An Post where he managed the entire Sales Department. PrintPost offers the commercial sector an outsourced service for the processing and distribution of critical documents through high tech document management. In his time there he restructured the sales function and opened up Printpost to new sectors previously not targeted and enjoyed much success.
Prior to joining First Choice Purchasing Stephen worked as Sales Manager for Bgate which is a B2B cloud based e-procurement platform which provides a fully automated and integrated solution for the entire ordering and invoicing process for organisations. Stephen had full responsibility for all sales related functions and he was responsible for the successful and large extensive growth of the customer base in his time there resulting in Bgate being a very prominent player in the marketplace for both buyers and suppliers. Stephen also holds a BA Hons Business Studies Degree which he obtained from Griffith College Dublin.
